Space Capabilities of BRICS Countries

The infographic shows how the space potential of the BRICS countries is shaping up today and how much their capabilities in this field differ. Russia and China already have extensive space infrastructure in place, including their own launch vehicles, spaceports, satellite constellations, and crewed programs. The other members of the group are developing areas related to satellite technologies and applied services, while banking on participation in international projects. The overview allows us to see BRICS not as a single space bloc, but as an association of countries with different sets of competencies and varying needs. It is precisely this diversity that could become the foundation for strengthening technological cooperation, training specialists, launching joint space projects, and ultimately defining a common goal that serves the interests of the majority of the Earth's population.
