The BRICS Expert Council-Russia was established in 2024 by an order of the Government of the Russian Federation
At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation under the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" for the purpose of information, analytical and expert support of Russia's activities in the BRICS association
The BRICS Expert Council–Russia acts as the national coordinator and is designed to promote the consolidation of Russian expert potential through BRICS, as well as represent Russia in the BRICS Think Tank Council (BTTC) and Civil BRICS Council
Shaping the foundations of a new more just world order by developing international dialogue and promoting the role of BRICS on the world stage
