BRICS Educational Landscape

The school education systems of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) account for approximately one-third of the global educational landscape. This infographic presents the scale and characteristics of school education in the BRICS group. It is designed with a focus on description rather than comparison. The infographic highlights two key aspects: 1) the socio-economic and demographic context of the countries and 2) the structure of their educational systems. The presented data underscore both the diversity of contexts within the BRICS systems and the common ground that facilitates opportunities for experience sharing and the aggregation of ideas aimed at addressing shared challenges in these educational systems.
